About the role
- Build internal AI products and add AI to existing company software: for example a meeting notetaker with transcription, summaries and action items, plus voice AI (speech to text, text to speech, speaker separation).
- Ship LLM features and tool-calling agents (RAG, structured extraction, multi-step workflows) and integrate them into APIs, web apps and internal services.
- Own small full-stack pieces (backend endpoints, data stores, background jobs, a clean front end), compare models by quality, latency and cost, add logging and safety checks, and run everything on AWS.
- Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related. Skills: hands-on LLM work (prompting, tool calling, RAG, embeddings, LangChain or LlamaIndex), Python and/or Node.js, REST APIs, Postgres, React, Git, Linux, Docker, AWS.
- Nice to have: real-time voice, vector databases, FastAPI/Express/Nest, evaluation harnesses, deeper AWS such as Bedrock or SageMaker.
