About the role
- Associate-level data role (Pune) building and maintaining power-market datasets and models for North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific using PLEXOS and Aurora simulation tools.
- Assist with market research, model updates, benchmarking and result analysis; maintain large energy databases and check model outputs for errors.
- Visualise results with Power BI and Excel and work within a team of energy data analysts.
- Education: Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (transmission preferred) or power systems.
- Skills: energy market modelling, numeracy, power-market economics, production-cost tools (PLEXOS preferred, or Aurora, PROMOD and similar), analytical and problem-solving skills, strong Excel and Power BI.
- Nice to have: experience at a market operator, developer or utility, and Agile/sprint familiarity.
