Anthropic files for its stock market debut under the ticker ANT
Anthropic, maker of the Claude models, has filed its public offering paperwork with the SEC and plans to list under the ticker ANT. The filing shows revenue of $16.3 billion for the first half of 2026, up from $1.2 billion a year earlier. It also shows an operating loss of $693 million, narrower than before, though a much larger net loss driven mostly by non-cash accounting items.
The company says more than 11,900 customers spend at least $100,000 a year, and about 250 spend $10 million or more. It has not yet disclosed how much it wants to raise or a share price. Governance is unusual: seven co-founders will hold just over half the voting power, and a long-term benefit trust can appoint most directors.
For Indian IT professionals, the numbers show how fast paid enterprise adoption of AI models is growing. That demand is what creates openings for engineers who can integrate, secure and deploy such tools. Freshers should watch how partners and services firms hire around these platforms.
